Note: Self Registration is only available for use with the Assessment Management module.
The Governance Portal allows users who have not received an id and password from an administrator to self register in the system. Organizations utilizing the Assessment Management system and open assessments (questionnaires that may be answered by anyone in the organization) may utilize self registration. This process requires the user to enter basic information and create a unique id and password.
Users who self register are automatically assigned the following roles:
Access to additional features and functionality must be granted by the administrator through roles and permissions.
- Open your Internet browser.
- Enter the URL for Protiviti's Governance Portal.
- Click Log In on the home page.
- Click Register on the Log In page.
- Complete the User Registration form.
Notes:
- Fields marked with an * are required.
- The Network ID field may also be required if LDAP has been configured on your Portal. See LDAP Functionality for additional information.
- Passwords must be at least 6 characters and must include letters and numbers.
