The Assessment Dashboard allows you to drill down and view detailed reports regarding assessment summary, assessor/review level summary, and assessor/review group summary. The dashboard allows you to monitor assessments in various states such as Open, Completed, Not Started, and In Progress. The following diagram shows the basic drill-down structure of Assessment Dashboard:
Select the Default GRC context from the context menu.
Click the Workflow Management tab.
Select Assessment Dashboard from the Assessment Management group.
Note: Assessment Dashboard can only be accessed by the users in the Administrator or Assessment Manager role, or users who are assigned as Group Reviewers within an assessment. See Manage Roles for more information on assigning users to roles.
You can search for the assessment by entering the keyword in the Search box and clicking the Search button. Click the Clear Search button to clear the search box.
From the Filter By drop-down list, you can choose to view all Open, Closed, Archived, or All Assessments in the system.
The following columns are displayed in the dashboard. Click on any column header to sort by that column:
Folder: Displays the folder name as an expandable node where the assessments are located. If an assessment is not organized in a specific folder, it will be displayed in the Default folder.
Assessment: Displays the assessment name as a link.
Assessment Status: Displays the assessment status. The assessment status on the Assessment Dashboard screen is read-only.
Note: You can also toggle between All or Archived assessments by selecting the desired filter.
End Date: Displays the date on which the assessment was closed.
Assessor Status: Shows a pie chart for the assessment that details the count of assessment items in various states, such as In Progress, Re-Open, Not Started, Completed, and/or for any review level where an assessment currently lies.
Notes:
Each review level in the chart includes all review groups within that review level
For object based assessments, the numbers refer to the objects being assessed as opposed to the number of assessments.
Click on the assessment name link to view the Assessment Summary screen.
The Assessment Summary screen is the first drill down level from the Assessment Dashboard. The top portion displays the overall summary of an assessment including Assessment Status, Date Opened, Date Closed, Action Plans, and a pie chart showing the count for assessment items in various states. The bottom portion displays the summary of assessor and review levels/groups and their associated pie charts.
Click Edit and modify the following details:
Assessment Status: Toggle the Assessment Status between Open, Design, and Closed.
Date Opened: Click Calendar to select the date on which the assessment was started by the assessor.
Date Closed: Click Calendar to select the date on which the assessment was submitted by the reviewer.
Note: The Action Plans field is read only and will display the real time count of the action plans associated with an assessment.
Click the assessor level/group or review level/group link in the Level section to view the summary.
Note: The assessor level/group and review level/group summary can also be accessed by clicking the desired tab in the top bar.
The Assessor Level section displays the summary of each assessor group in the assessment. The Assessor Level summary section can be accessed by clicking the Assessor Level link in the Assessment Summary screen or the Assessor Level tab in the top bar.
The Assessor Group summary displays the status of the assessment for each assessor in an assessor group. You can access the assessor group summary by clicking the assessor group link the Assessor Level section or by clicking the assessor group tab in the top bar
The following columns are displayed in the assessor group summary.
Assessor: The name of the assessor.
Entity: The entity scoped in to the assessment by the assessor.
Object: The object scoped in to the assessment by the assessor.
Assessment Status: Displays the status of an assessment as a hyperlink. Clicking this link will open the assessment in its last submitted state. For instance, an assessor submits an assessment to a reviewer in level 1 and the reviewer in level 1 submits the assessment further to the reviewer in level 2. Now, if a user clicks on the assessment status link, the assessment will be displayed in the same state as it was when the reviewer in level 1 submitted it to the reviewer in level 2. Below are some of the assessment statuses :
Not Started: This status is displayed if the assessor has not started the assessment. This status will appear as plain text and not as a hyperlink.
In Progress: Displayed when the assessor has initiated the assessment but did not submit the assessment to a reviewer for review.
Reopened: Displayed when the reviewer sends the assessment back to the assessor.
Review Level - Review Level 1: Displayed when the assessor submits the assessment to the reviewer but the assessment lies pending with the reviewer in level 1 for action.
Review Level - Review Level 2: Displayed when the reviewer in level 1 submits the assessment to the reviewer in level 2 for further review but the assessment lies pending with the reviewer in level 2 for further action.
Click on an assessment status in the list to review a summary of the assessment response for the selected assessor.
Note: Review levels and groups are customizable and variable depend on what is defined in their scope. See Scope Tab - Object Based Assessment Setup for more information.
Sorting/Filtering: Click on a column header to sort by that column or filter the list by clicking Filter next to the column, adding a value and selecting an operator from the drop-down list.
The Review Level section displays the summary of each review group in the assessment. The Review Level summary section can be accessed by clicking the Review Level tab in the top bar.
The Review Group summary displays the status of the assessment for each reviewer in a reviewer group. The top section of review group summary shows the Group Review Status, Group Reviewer, and the count of associated action plans. You can access the review group summary by clicking the review group link in the Level section or by clicking the review group tab in the top bar.

If you have group review set up for your assessment, the person assigned as the Group Reviewer can click Edit to mark the Group Status as complete and add comments, if necessary. Any assessment in the group reviewer's queue will be sent to the next level or marked as complete, depending on the review setup. Any comments will be added to the history of the assessment's objects. If there are still assessments to be reviewed, the group review status will remain In Progress. it is not until all assessments are reviewed that the status is set to Complete. Click Save when finished.
