Using Multiple Languages in the Governance Portal

The Governance Portal provides the ability to enable users to view Governance Portal content in different languages. Items such as field labels, category values, tab and module names, and role and permission groups are translated to provide a full user experience in whatever language they choose.

Note: While most category-based field can be translated, text fields appear in the language they were entered by the user and cannot to be translated into other languages. See Multilingual Enabled Objects for all items that are displayed in multiple languages.

Note: There are also specific culture settings within each language that you specify for each user. For more information, see Select User Language and Culture Settings.

The administrator defines which languages will be necessary within the organization as well as the default language for the Governance Portal system and its users. For more information, see Administer the Language Settings.
