The steps to perform a review are similar for all objects within the system. Therefore, only one option is illustrated below. Follow the steps to access the appropriate object and then follow the steps below to perform the review.
Access the appropriate object (e.g. RCM, documentation, work paper, action plan, test etc.).
Click the Review tab.
Note: Only the Risk Review screen is shown below - however, all review screens have the same functionality.
Click Edit in the Review section.
Select a Review Status from the drop-down list.
Select the Lock check box if you wish to lock further activities for a given object.
Note: The Test form displays a Completed check box instead of the Lock check box.
Enter any comments.
Notes: The review form for Findings includes additional fields that should be completed:
Assigned Auditor - you may click select to choose the name of the auditor who is responsible for completing the review
Disposition - Select a disposition to classify how this information will be used from the drop-down list. By default the options are: preliminary finding, draft finding, reportable finding.
Nature - enter the nature of the finding.
Root Cause - Enter the root cause of the finding.
Business Impact - Describe the impact this finding may have on the business.
Click Save.
Notes:
The Reviewer and Review Date fields are automatically updated.
A reviewer can unlock the review to enable updates to applicable areas.
